Happy Birthday Xiomara!

Today is a big day — my youngest daughter turned 1. Xiomara has had a big year — breathing, smiling, crawling, talking (kind of) and then walking. My 35th year hasn’t been nearly as exciting.

Curious about the name? Xiomara is a Spanish name (my mom’s side of the family is from Puerto Rico). Although not that common, there was a famous Cuban singer from the 50s (Xiomara Alfaro) with the same name and it was ranked as the 768th most common girls name last year, right behind Rowan and Shea!
